tl;dr  TAS card update, Backer card reminder, also news on the new Kickstarter, Traveller CCG Online!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Traveller CCG Online

Today is a big day for the Traveller Customizable Card Game.  We've launched our second Kickstarter, Traveller CCG Online!  We're taking the physical card game and making an online version you can play with anyone, at any time, anywhere all over the world!

This does not mean the physical card game has been abandoned.  On the contrary, we are playtesting and finalizing card text on the next sets!

You have all been a wonderful community, and it's been an honor to have your support.  We hope you'll consider looking at this second venture!

TAS Card Update

I sent out an email to the people who are qualified to receive a TAS Card.  If you think you were supposed to be one of them and you didn't receive an email from me, first check your spam filter.  And if it's still not there, please let me know.

Unfulfilled Backer Cards

We've explained our plans on these a few times, but it bears repeating because we take our obligations very seriously.

The plan is to include the remaining backer sponsored cards in upcoming sets.  If our game is not successful enough to warrant further sets, we will still produce them.  We'll put the files online for anyone to download for print-on-demand, and the specific backer will receive physical copies as well.

Reprint Update

Progress continues on the so-called "problem cases."  Please be aware that our reprint inventory was, for financial reasons, calculated fairly precisely.  We are doing everything in our power to get people the cards they're supposed to have, but for some of the problem cases, particularly those that may have arisen because we weren't told of an address change, our options may be limited.

Thank you everyone, hope to see you at the digital kickstarter!

Pre-Turkey Updates
over 5 years ago – Thu, Nov 22, 2018 at 12:21:50 AM

As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, just wanted to give a brief update.

Main reprint shipping should be complete.

We are now trying to resolve the "problem cases."  If you have reached out to us, great!  You're on our radar and we're trying to fix it.  If you haven't received your cards yet, or you have an issue and you haven't told us about it, please let us know as soon as possible!

Even a delay of a few days can add significant complications, and our reprint inventory was calibrated fairly precisely, so we don't have the greatest latitude to replace lost cards, and to the extent we do, we're prioritizing situations where the "problem case" is a result of our error or shipping damage.

Remember, you can find a complete list of which cards were reprinted in this update and also in a thread on our forums.

We also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and especially your patience and understanding as we've worked through this reprint process.  We know it's disappointing to receive a product that isn't up to snuff, so we've done our best to ensure that our Kickstarter backers get what they're entitled to.

We'd also like to extend another invitation to join our extended community.

www.travellerccg.com is our main website, along with our forums.  Which, as a reminder, the way to redeem your Kickstarter forum badge reward is, well, by signing up for the forums.  Make sure to use the email address connected to your Kickstarter, because that's how we set it up.  If for any reason you can't, let us know and we'll try to work around it.

You can rate the game on our BoardGameGeek page!  Love it or hate it, we appreciate your support.  Let your fellow gamers know what you think!

We have a presence on the most active Traveller internet community, the Citizens of the Imperium forum.

This is us on Facebook, Reddit and on Twitter.

We're also always available via email, [email protected].

There's even potentially the possibility to yell at us in person!  We host events at many San Francisco Bay Area gaming conventions, and in fact we'll be hosting Traveller CCG casual play and demos at GobbleCon this weekend, Saturday the 24th, from 12pm to 4pm.

Hope to hear from you guys soon, often, and for a long time to come!

Oh, also, here is a little game summary and example of play video:

The Lone Wolf Lounge
over 5 years ago – Fri, Nov 02, 2018 at 01:37:33 AM

The reprint shipping process is taking longer than we hoped, but people are daily reporting receiving their cards.  If you haven't gotten yours yet, we ask you hold on a little longer.

If the reports have dried up by mid-November, we'll then start collecting any of the problem cases and do our best to resolve those.

Also, we've created a new subforum on our boards.  The Lone Wolf Lounge is dedicated to the Traveller CCG solo play experience.  If you haven't been to our forums yet, consider checking them out!

Thanks as always!
